Diferencia entre MEET, GET TO KNOW and KNOW?

Segunda fase: GET TO KNOW se refiere al proceso de conocer a alguien. Ahí es entonces cuándo usamos “GET TO KNOW SOMEONE”.
Ejemplos:
- I need to GET TO KNOW him before giving him my keys. Necesito CONOCERLE antes de darle mis llaves. – I think they are GETTING TO KNOW each other because I see them talking all the time.
También podemos utilizarlo para hablar de lugares: The best thing you can do to get to know a city is to take a guided tour.

Tercera fase: TO KNOW, conocer.
- Do you KNOW her? ¿La CONOCES? – Yes, I KNOW her, I met her a year ago at a party.
